EVERYDAY IN MARCH IS ANOTHER CHANCE TO CELEBRATE WOMEN!

The other night when I was lying in bed I was thinking about how if we as women just plan a global celebration for ourselves every single day, then everyday on this planet will be all about us! The next day I woke up to find this email from Women for Women International, who apparently seemed to have the same realization. They decided to devote the entire month of March to celebrating and empowering women and girls! 

"March 8th, 2013 marks the 102nd celebration of International Women’s Day, taking place across the world from Rwanda to Russia, Afghanistan to Australia, and Uruguay to the US.
We decided that one day is simply not enough to celebrate the power and achievements of half of humanity.

We’re making it a Month.

Celebrate March for Women and support Women for Women International's work to provide women survivors of war with access to critical education, rights awareness and income-generating skills as they look to transform their lives and communities."

They aren't the only ones who came to this conclusion. Pathfinder International decided to spend an entire week highlighting women all over the world who dare to dream, and whose courage is changing the world. On top of that Care had their annual conference this last week, in which they engage women and girls in this country to become activists for women and girls all over the world. As Pathfinder asked us: Do you dare?
