Congresswoman Gwen Moore of Wisconsin Introduces the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act by sharing her personal experience as a rape and domestic violence survivor. According to the Rape, Abuse, & Incest Nation Network, a person is sexually assaulted every two minutes. More than half are not reported and roughly 97 percent of rapists will never spend a day in jail.
On a more personal note I can't even begin to describe how proud I am of every single woman and girl all over the world. Watching all of you stand up and fight for yourselves gives me more pride than I can ever imagine. I have definitely dreamed of this day. Just keep fighting ladies!
