GOODBYE HAPPINESS/LOVE POTION NUMBER 9
Imagine being rewired from the inside out. Your entire genetic structure reconfigured while you are still in your body, almost to make you into some sort of super human. Transforming you from a carbon structure to a crystalline one, and your brain going from being two halves to one unified structure that allows you to use it in ways that you never have before. Of course this comes with pain, a lot of pain, like having surgery constantly except being awake and conscious of it with no painkillers. On top of that imagine having to be completely isolated throughout this process, and being under house arrest for years and years and years. This is a small snippet of what the Ascension process is like, and it really should instead just be called "Goodbye Happiness" because that would be a much more accurate name for it.
Maybe that's why lately I've been drawn to this show called Solitary. It's a so-called "reality" show in which a bunch of contestants are placed into their own individual pods and forced to endure "treatments" to see how much insanity they can take before they eventually end up quitting. Their only contact with the outside world is a computer generated voice named Val, and it reminds me of spending all my time dealing with non-physical beings. While it may seem somewhat sadistic, it is important to remember that everything on TV is fake and super constructed. However, it's a pretty accurate view of what the Ascension process is like for us, except infinitely worse and there's no red button for us to push to quit.
All I know is we are the type of people who if we were put into a room and someone asked us "who wants to volunteer to jump out of a plane without a parachute" we would've jumped up and insisted that we were chosen. Basically, we are all completely fucking insane, and the only thing I'm allowed to do at this point is to write angry blogs about men. Although lately, I've been allowed to make angry youtube videos about them also (upgrade ?).
This process is made harder, because we are then being attacked by a variety of factors that we have no control over. I recently was drawn towards a site in which Eve Lorgen talks about what she calls "Alien Love Bites". It is basically when non-physical beings interfere with our love lives and our love relationships for their own personal gain or enjoyment. After reading it, it explained why I've had some really weird almost obsessive relationships with certain men even though I'm not really like that. I'm usually pretty content with being single, and it's an interesting read that I think might help a lot of people connect some dots in their lives.

***A few days after I posted this, I kept seeing those visit San Diego ads which were using the tagline "Happiness is calling". And then the next day my mom brought home this giant yellow flag that she had bought which has two bees on it and says "Bee Happy". It is now hanging outside my window. At least the universe has a sense of humor, and someone thinks my misery is really fucking funny.
