WOMEN AND GIRLS DESERVE BETTER.....STOP HUMAN TRAFFICKING!
I was reading this article below about a village in India in which girls routinely end up being human trafficking victims, and how this one woman has a dream to build a girls college for the girls in her community. After reading it, I was so overwhelmed and it reminds me why I work so hard to be successful. My dream is to be able to have so much money that I can help make sure every woman and girls dream comes true, and in a case like this one I would love to be able to help her build her college. It definitely motivates me to work harder, hopefully when this book gets published it will make lots of money so we can help all these girls!!!
"Chandralekha believes the lack of education is the root cause of all problems in her village. "If a girl is educated, would she abide by her family's wishes and become a prostitute?" she asks. "No, even if she has to go out of the village to earn a living, the girl would be confident," she adds.
Chandralekha's primary school now has about 45 students. Her day begins with teaching Hindi and Mathematics. Post-lunch she goes around to her neighbours' houses to encourage them to send the kids to school. The school had ceased functioning and been revived several times. She says she has to shut shop when children don't turn up. But that hasn't dampened her spirits.
I want to see a college in the village," she says, "preferably, a girls' college."

When women and girls have few opportunities and suffer in poverty it's very easy for them to be targeted by traffickers. In addition to holding men responsible for their actions, and having very large sentences everywhere in the world for traffickers and the men who created a demand for this in the first place, the other big part to ending this type of exploitation is to fight poverty, misogyny, and discrimination against women and girls. ***On a super positive note human trafficking has been one of the big things I've been working on helping to dismantle through my planetary healing work. There was this one place around here (a massage place) that I was positive was engaging in human trafficking. After much work on an energetic level (maybe I'll tell the long story of this at some point, but for now I'll just say..) I finally got it to close down. I'm positive that the traffickers are either in jail or will be shortly, before they're just permanently removed from this planet, if they haven't been already. The place was boarded up when I drove by a week ago, and when I drove by a few days ago, the door was open and the inside was completely gutted and was being renovated and had clearly been bought by someone else and is being turned into a positive business. It made me super happy! If you want something done you have to do it yourself!!!!
