New Male Archetype......Men Taking Birth Control Pills!
I'm really excited for men to have birth control options available to them, other than the use of condoms which don't always work. The one that I keep hearing about is a form of birth control that is coming out of India. It is a solution that is injected into the vas deferens, which is a white tube that the sperm travels through from the testes to the penis. The solution is a nontoxic polymer that forms a coating on the inside of the vas, as sperm flows past it they are chemically incapacitated making them incapable of fertilizing an egg. This procedure can also be reversed by injecting another solution into the vas, that reverses the initial injection, making the male fertile once again.
While there are men out there who would want this, and would be excited to have a form of birth control that will make it impossible for them to conceive a love child, there are men out there who would object to having their precious sperm be rendered useless. However, what women need to always remember is that we have all the power in the relationship, and if you decide you want your man to get this, which sounds like a great solution for birth control for long-term committed couples, you just take your man to the doctor and have him get his penis injection. If he doesn't want to, than you remind him that, that cute guy who always flirts it up with you, is more than willingly to undergo this procedure. You as the woman always have options when it comes to men, never compromise because some guy thinks you should carry the entire burden in the relationship!
This would also be great if they made it mandatory for teenage boys. On their 13th birthday they can go to the doctor to get their scrotum injection, which will help rid our country of teen pregnancies, and that annoyingly depressing tv show: Teen Mom.
Of course the best benefit of it all, won't be that women will no longer have to bear 100 percent of the responsibility when it comes to reproduction, but the male birth control commercials that we will now be subjected to. I bet they'll feature lots of men hanging around watching sports, talking about how they no longer have to worry about getting some girl pregnant, or walking around in their business suits holding important meetings. Dudebros meet birth control, these commercials will definitely be priceless, and will probably air constantly especially during the superbowl.
